The Hyco Lake Triathlon is an all day festival of multisport with an Age Group Sprint and 3 draft legal collegiate only races. Staged out of beautiful Person-Caswell Recreation Area (Hyco Lake Park) just outside of Roxboro, NC in Person & Caswell Counties and only one hour north of Durham, NC.
The Hyco Lake Triathlon is an outstanding event with clear water, rural roads and fast times. The swim features a sandy beach start and a crisp, clear lake with water temperatures expected to be in the mid 60’s. The bike and run courses are rural, rolling and not too challenging. Colleges from all over the Mid-Atlantic bring their Varsity and Club teams to compete in the Draft Legal race or Non Drafting race.
April is a great time of the year to be outside in Roxboro, NC, home to great riding, microbrews, farm to table dining and more. Visit the Person County CVB to learn more HERE.
The Age Group Sprint at 8:00AM is open to all athletes, first timers through elite. The draft legal races are for Collegiate D1/D2/D3 athletes only!
